Policy on Responses outside the Fire District
The Central Yavapai Fire District’s response to emergencies immediately outside the District will be limited to those areas which are protected by contract or by an agency which has a current automatic/mutual aid or intergovernmental agreement with the Fire District. Central Yavapai Fire District units may respond to auto accidents within a 5-mile area beyond our geographical boundaries.
Property owners outside the boundaries of Central Yavapai Fire District may apply for a fire protection contract. Contracts are renewable year to year. The fee for a fire protection contract is equal to the amount which would be paid if the Applicant’s Property was located in and taxable by the District at the District’s then current tax rate, plus an administrative fee of 25%. On the Search tab, properties may be searched by parcel number, address, owner name, subdivision name or history. Under Fire District it will state Central Yavapai FD if you are within the boundaries of Central Yavapai Fire District. To see a map of various fire districts click on the drop down menu in the Locations Search By and select Fire District, a second search field box and drop down menu will appear: Select a Fire District; Central Yavapai Fd is the fourth one on the list.
