The Community Risk Management Division
oversees all public education programs which include:

Fire Safety Educational Clowns
"Hot Shot" and "Ashes" are our Life and Fire Safety Clowns who educate both preschool kids and the elderly with fire safety messages. They use fun and laughter to teach important fire and injury reduction messages to the entire community.




Truckee “Truckee” is our mascot and he can be seen making appearances at special events and parades.
