Reserve Program
The Central Yavapai Fire District maintains a reserve program to supplement its full-time force. Reserves wear District supplied pagers and respond to large incidents, providing added man/woman power and extra pieces of apparatus as needed.
Testing for the reserve force occurs on an as needed basis. Although we do not currently have any testing scheduled,
please feel free to print out an interest card and send or deliver it to our headquarters. These cards are kept on file for six months and will be used to notify interested individuals when testing is determined to be needed.
Reserves Must:
- Reside within the Fire District boundaries, which includes the City of Prescott.
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Have a valid Arizona drivers license.
- Not have had a felony (within previous 10 years) or misdemeanor (within previous 3 years) convictions involving moral turpitude.
- Be insurable by District insurance carrier for operation of department vehicles.
